Spring Show at Pittock Mansion
Pittock Mansion to exhibit Paintings of Pittock Mansion and its surroundings with Broderick Gallery
We invite you to join us for the Museum Store’s grand opening on March 1, 2008,at 11:00 a.m., and for the grand opening reception, on March 6th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. to coincide with the opening of “Shadow & Light: Art of the Pittock Mansion” featuring plein-air paintings of the Mansion and its environs.
Enjoy original artwork of the Pittock Mansion-executed while in the open air in this first ever Plein Air show at Pittock Mansion. The subject was a beautiful one - Pittock Mansion and its surroundings inside and out. Working in conjunction with the annual Plein Air show held at the Broderick Gallery in downtown Portland. Each location will exhibit some amazing scenes of Portland, Pittock Mansion, interior details and surrounding gardens.

Painters and artists have been working feverishly over the last six months to produce artwork showing interiors, exteriors and views surrounding this Portland landmark. Some have been working in all kinds of weather to produce beautiful images of this beautiful Portland landmark.

The Broderick gallery, located at 814 SW 1st Avenue, will show works through March 31, 2008; Call 503-224-4020 for gallery information. Exhibit is free to view.
The Exhibit at the mansion will continue through June 30, 2008 and is included with admission to the mansion- Adults $7, Seniors $6, Children 6-18 $4. Free for members of Pittock Mansion.
